Eastside ENT Specialists Inc has a multidisciplinary team of otolaryngologists, board certified physicians, audiologists, and clinical staff trained to provide medical and surgical treatment for people with ear, nose and throat (ENT) conditions in the Northeast Ohio area.
From ENT physician specialists to speech therapists, our programs offer comprehensive ENT treatment and recovery plans that assist patients throughout the healing process.
E. Luke Bold, MD, PhD, FACS
Dr. Bold is a past President of the Medical Staff at Lake Health. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Bold completed his MD from the Case Western University along with a BA from Lawrence University and PhD at Loyola University. He was trained in ENT Head and Neck Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He is a board certified otolaryngologist. He specializes in sinus surgery, sleep disorders, thyroid disorders, head and neck cancer, pediatric ENT, and voice problems. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, golf and music.
Kenneth J. Vito, MD, FACS Dr. Vito completed both his BA and MD at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a board-certified otolaryngologist. Trained at the Cleveland Clinic, he was named Physician of the Year at Lake West Hospital and was recognized as a ‘Top Doc’ by the Northern Ohio Live Magazine. Dr. Vito specializes in minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery, pediatric ENT, chronic diseases, and endoscopic sinus surgery. He divides his time between our Concord and Willoughby offices. Besides medicine, his personal interests are family, golf and tennis.
Michael D. Gaugler, MD
Dr. Gaugler is a board-certified otolaryngologist with an MD degree from the University of the Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed specialty ENT training at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Gaugler specializes in medical and surgical treatments for adult and pediatric ENT patients. His medical interests include allergy testing and treatment, sinus problems, ear hearing and balance disorders, and head and neck cancer. He also divides his time between our Concord and Willoughby offices. Dr. Gaugler is a family man with interests in reading and running.
Samuel C. Kerns, MD
Dr. Kerns completed his BA and MD from the Case Western Reserve University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Kerns, like our other physicians, is also board-certified. He received his ENT training at the Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Kerns holds keen interest in nasal and sinus disease, hearing loss, pediatric patients, and neck masses. He works at all 3 offices of Eastside ENT Specialists. In his personal space, he spends his time with family and is interested in music and the sports teams based in Cleveland.
Robert L. Katz, MD
Dr. Robert L Katz completed his Ear, Nose and Throat training in the Harvard University program, with Dr. Harold Schuknecht, at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He then entered United States Air Force becoming a Major and Head of the Ear, Nose and Throat service at Minot Air Force Base, Minot Veterans Administration and The Public Health Service in Minot, North Dakota. After his Military service he returned to Cleveland, Ohio to begin practice affiliated with University Hospitals, where he had served as the Acting Chairman of Otolaryngology and achieved the academic rank of Full Clinical Professor. For the past 20 years, prior to joining Eastside ENT, he practiced Otolaryngology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he had been Head of Regional Otolaryngology.
Margaret Kost, M.A.
Margie Kost received her Master of Arts degree from Cleveland State University. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). Margie’s primary focus is in performance of special diagnostic tests that assist in the evaluation of patients who experience dizziness, tinnitus, or other symptoms that may involve the inner ear and/or retrocochlear pathology. These assessments may include Videonystagmography (VNG), Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), and Electrocochleography (EcochG). Margie primarily sees patients in the Concord office. Margie has a passion for music and running marathons and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Jane Webb, M.A.
Jane Webb, M.A. received her Master of Arts at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology. Jane’s main interests are in diagnostic audiology and hearing instrument fitting for both the pediatric and adult population. She sees patients in the Concord and Madison offices and enjoys cycling and spending time with her family.
Lori Falzone, M.A.
Lori Falzone received her Master of Arts degree in Audiology from Cleveland State University. She is a member of The American Speech and Hearing Association. Lori enjoys working with both the adult and pediatric populations. She specializes in fitting hearing aids and helping her patients acclimate to them successfully. She sees patients in the Concord and Willoughby offices. Personal interests include travel,
cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Sally Rachek, M.A.
Sally Rachek joined our practice in 2015 and has extensive experience in diagnostic audiological assessment and hearing aid fitting for both pediatric and adult patients. She received her Master of Arts degree from Cleveland State University in 1983 and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in 2005. Sally Rachek is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in the state of Ohio to practice audiology. She sees patients in our Concord and Willoughby offices. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, running and being outdoors.
